Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH and all its subsidiaries take the protection of your personal data very seriously. With the following data protection declaration, we would like to inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data we collect and otherwise process and inform you about the rights to which you are entitled. We process your personal data only insofar as this is permitted on the basis of statutory regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). As a matter of principle, we process your personal data as sparingly as possible. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, name, address, telephone/fax number, e-mail address, but also IP address and date and time of access to our website.

 

I. Ensuring security and confidentiality

 

Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data we have under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons. To this end, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL via HTTPS.) Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. Our employees have been obligated to maintain data secrecy in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) in conjunction with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), to protect social data in accordance with the Social Code (Sozialgesetzbuch), and to maintain confidentiality in accordance with Sections 203, 204 of the Criminal Code (StGB) (Art. 29, Art. 32 (4) DSGVO). Our data protection officers worked to ensure compliance with data secrecy and the duty of confidentiality.

II. Processing of personal data when visiting our website

 

1. Access to website - collection of general data

During a purely informative visit to the website of Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH, i.e. if you do not use any of the services offered by us on the website or otherwise actively transmit information to us, personal data is usually only collected and recorded in so-called log files. Data that your web browser transmits to us and is stored in log files are, for example, the IP address, date and time, which files were called up, data volumes transferred, the website from which access was made and the identification data of the browser used.
The data collection takes place in pseudonymized form and for the purpose of being able to correctly display the contents of our website requested by you and to ensure the stability and security of the website. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

For the purpose of purely informational use of our website, no personal registration is required.

2. Contacting us via e-mail or contact form

We store and process personal data such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address only to the extent necessary for the performance of our services.
This is the case, for example, when contacting one of our employees by e-mail, if you thereby actively transmit the personal data to us. The legal basis for data processing in this case is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Your personal data will also be stored and processed if you contact us via the general contact form or register online for one of our medical events. The necessary mandatory information is marked with an (*); without this information, we cannot process your inquiry or registration. All other information is voluntary. In addition, you have the option of transferring the event date directly to your personal calendar and saving it there by clicking on the "Add date to calendar" button; this requires an explicit request from you.
We use the personal data sent only for the purposes of contacting you or for your registration for the event, its proper implementation and documentation. The legal basis for data processing in both cases is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, which you give us when contacting us or registering and submitting your personal data. Before you can submit the forms, you are therefore asked to confirm that you have taken note of this privacy policy and agree to the data processing associated with the contact or registration. Registration without a declaration of consent is technically not possible. You are entitled to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO); the data processing previously carried out on the basis of your consent remains lawful even after revocation.

Please do not send us any health data or other confidential data via one of the forms. Unauthorized access by third parties can never be completely ruled out in this respect; we expressly point this out to you here.

3. Application for open positions by e-mail

4. Basically no data transfer to third parties

The personal data collected by Bioscientia für Medizinische Diagnostik GmbH via this website will not be published and will not be passed on to third parties as a matter of principle. Personal data will only be passed on to authorities and state institutions on the basis of legal, official or judicial orders. This possible data transfer is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c or lit. f DSGVO.

III. Use of cookies and processing of personal data by third-party providers

 

1 General information on the use of cookies

In the course of designing this website, Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH makes use of the services of third-party providers who use cookies. These small text files are saved in connection with activities on our website and stored on your hard drive to be available again for your later calls to our website. With the help of cookies, the information on our website can be made available to you in a more interest-oriented and user-friendly manner. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer, do not execute any programs and do not contain any viruses. The legal basis for the setting of cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
The cookies used are set and read by Google Inc. (Google Analytics and Google Maps), see III. 2 and III. or etracker, see under III. 2. The information we obtain with the help of the cookies set by the third-party providers is not made available to third parties on our part, but is used solely for a user-friendly use of our website. The information is not used by us to create user profiles.
Most web browsers are set to automatically accept the setting of cookies. However, this function can be deactivated at any time in any web browser. You can then continue to visit our website in principle; however, it is possible that you will then no longer be able to use all functions. 2. Google Analytics

Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH uses the services of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider of Google Analytics is Google Inc. 1600, Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. In this respect, Bioscientia für Medizinische Diagnostik GmbH has concluded a contract with Google Inc. in accordance with the standard data protection clauses on the basis of Art. 46 (2) lit. c DSGVO.
Google Inc. uses the data stored and processed within the scope of Google Analytics to evaluate the use of our website on our behalf, to compile reports on website activities and, if necessary, to provide us with further services related to website and Internet use. The data is usually transferred to a server of Google Inc. in the USA. In this respect, Google Inc. has committed itself to compliance with the provisions of the EU-US-Datenschutzschild-Vereinbarung (Privacy Shield Agreement).
Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH has commissioned Google Inc. to activate IP anonymization. When using our website within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, the IP address of Google Inc. will be shortened and thus anonymized before being transmitted to the server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

3. Use of Google Maps

Links to the map service Google Maps are integrated into our website. The provider of Google Maps is Google Inc, 1600 Amphithea-tre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. With the integration of Google Maps, we can show you interactive maps directly and in this way enable you to use the map function conveniently.
When you call up a link to Google Maps on our website, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Google Inc. The map content is transmitted by Google Inc. directly to your browser and Google Maps is built.
When using Google Maps, information about the use, including your IP address and the (start) address entered for route planning, if applicable, is transmitted from your browser directly to Google Inc. in the USA and stored there. We have no influence on the scope of the data collected by Google Inc. and the further processing and use. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of your data by Google Inc. as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy can be found in the data protection information of Google (see already II.2).

V. Duration of storage and deletion of personal data

Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH stores your personal data only for as long as required by law or to ensure the stated processing purposes. If the storage of personal data is no longer necessary, we delete all personal data in accordance with the legal requirements. In the case of data collected in log files (see under II. 1.), the personal data is usually deleted after 2 weeks.

VI. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding the personal data concerning your data:

Right to information (Art. 15 DSGVO),

Right to rectification (Art. 16 DSGVO),

Right to erasure (Art. 17 DSGVO),

Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO),

Right to object to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO),

Right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO),

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Art. 77Abs. 1 DSGVO).

If you have given us consent to process your personal data for a specific purpose (see II. 2. - 4.), you may revoke the consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) DSGVO). The processing of your personal data that we have carried out until the revocation remains lawful even after the revocation. We will inform you again about your right of revocation and the specific steps to exercise the right of revocation at the point where you give us your consent to data processing.

VIII. Supervisory Authority

If you recognize or suspect violations of data protection, you have the option of contacting us or our data protection officers (see under VII.) or one of the competent supervisory authorities pursuant to Article 77 (1) DSGVO.

IX. Validity of the data protection declaration

The currently valid privacy policy is the version of 27.11.2018. Bioscientia Healthcare GmbH reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time with immediate effect. The most current version of the data protection declaration shall apply in each case.
